Beata Lampers is one of the students who will write the hall exam on Saturday.

She and several others have expressed their concern to the department responsible for the exam.

They want the exam to be written from home instead, something they did with the same examination during the spring semester.

- It is simply about the serious situation we are in, it does not feel safe to go to an exam room and sit there with a lot of people, says student Beata Lampers.

"The examination must be legally certain"

According to Eva Mörk at the Department of Economics, the main argument for conducting the exam on the spot instead of away from home is to give everyone as fair a chance as possible.

- This examination must be legally secure, and the most legally secure way to complete it is through a hall exam.

If you have a home exam or distance exam, the risk of cheating increases, which makes it unfair for those who do not cheat and the value of the degree itself decreases, says Eva Mörk, head of the Department of Economics at Uppsala University.
