Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - Within one day, 297 new corona infections were detected in Saarland.
As of Friday noon (4 p.m.), the total number of those who have been infected with the virus since the start of the pandemic in Saarland rose to 15,731, according to the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken.
On Wednesday, 454 corona cases, the previous daily high in the Saarland for new infections since the outbreak of the pandemic, was registered.
By Friday there were also six more deaths related to Covid 19 disease.
The total number is 332. Currently, 2757 Saarlanders are considered infected.
The number of infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days, which is important for the course of the pandemic, is still high in the state at 185.1.
With a rate of 240.6, the Saarbrücken Regional Association is at the top.
