La Elipa
neighborhood
, in the Ciudad Lineal district of Madrid capital, and
La Moraleja
, in the Alcobendas municipality, will continue to be confined to the perimeter for at least one more week.
In both areas there has been a "favorable downward trend" in Covid-19 cases but "they do not reach the necessary level" to lift restrictions on mobility, which will continue until 00:00 on December 21.
This has been confirmed this Friday by the general director of Public Health, Elena Adradas, who has also announced the end of limitations in two other areas:
Guzmán el Bueno
, in the Madrid district of Chamberí, and
Barcelona
, in the town of Móstoles.
In them there has been a decrease of more than 50% in the number of infections.
This week, no Basic Health Zone has exceeded 400 cases of coronavirus per 100,000 inhabitants.
For this reason, the Ministry of Health will
not confine new neighborhoods
on the
perimeter
for the moment.
