Hotel rooms are canceled when the spread of infection in Helsingborg increases

December is an important month for the hotel and restaurant industry with Christmas dinners and large events.

- It is now that they would save what was lost during the year.

On the third of December in a normal year, it had been fully booked here, says Kjell Jakobsson, owner of, among other things, the Vault hotel.

But this winter will make up for it for many in the industry.

Tougher restrictions were first introduced in November and now it is clear that Helsingborg is in second place in the country when it comes to the spread of covid-19.

- Now there are many in this industry who will get a pure hell, says Kjell Jakobsson.
