The Bordeaux-Bègles Union launched its European campaign perfectly on Friday by winning at the finish in Northampton (16-12), on a penalty touching the post transformed into a test by Santiago Cordero, after being dominated for an hour of play.

For his first kick, the opener replacing Matthieu Jalibert, entered in place of Ben Botica, struck the left upright, the side chosen by the trajectory of the ball.
