Lebach (dpa / lrs) - A 27-year-old man attacked a man and a woman with a knife and slightly injured them in Lebach, Saarland.
The background to the fact was initially unclear, as the state police headquarters in Saarbrücken announced on Thursday.
According to the investigation, the suspect and the couple were walking to an asylum seekers' center that morning when the man suddenly attacked his fellow Syrians who were in front of him.
The 20-year-old woman and her 23-year-old companion were able to flee to the center, the security service handed the attacker over to the police.
The man who lived in Saarbrücken was taken to a clinic.
