Emirati and Arab activists on the hashtag #Boom Moftah interacted with an incident of gang rape of a girl and published it on social media, stressing that what happened is considered a crime and disrespecting the law, and demanded the most severe punishment for the perpetrators.

The Emirates News Agency announced today, through the State Attorney General, that the perpetrators of the crime of rape have been arrested, and that "immediate and just retribution will take place for the victim."

In my opinion, rape is one of the biggest crimes that can be committed against any human being. The victims are rarely returned as they were and the effects of the crime remain with them for the rest of their lives.

Personally, I support any maximum penalty against a rapist and let fear deter someone who has similar thoughts.

The statement emphasized that "based on the urgent report presented by the FBI, which was documented with video clips, which included a group of young men raping a girl and spreading their crime on social media platforms, Abu Dhabi Police were able on the same date to arrest them."

Emirati lawyer Hawra Musa commented, through a series of tweets to her on her official Twitter account, by saying, "There have been many calls for the application of (the new law) to the rapists in the Boumoftah case."

#Bu_the key to the modified law of a clear period.

Whoever rapes a minor will be sentenced to death.

God will be with the help of the families of the rapists, because it seems that they will be a lesson if it is decided to implement the new law on them. Oh God, do not remove the cover from us, O Lord.

She added, "I would like to point out that the law is the same, there is no new law, and the punishment for the rapist was and still is the death penalty, and that every person justifies harassment, rape or indecent assault, is no less ugly and a crime than the perpetrator."

And many of the tweeters wished "to punish the perpetrators with the maximum legally prescribed penalty, on charges of rape, filming, defamation, filming and terrorizing society."

The tweeters believed that "the crime of rape has no excuse, and no one has the right to attack someone's body, whatever the circumstances, and that the video contains more than one crime: indecent assault, rape, filming, publishing, threats, openly committing sin, and electronic crimes."
