Reuters: US intends to impose sanctions against Turkey over S-400

According to the agency, such measures can be announced “any day”.

The sanctions, as noted, will affect the Office of the Defense Industry of Turkey and its head Ismail Demir.

Earlier it became known that the draft defense budget agreed by both chambers of the US Congress included sanctions against Turkey because of the S-400.

As noted in the State Department, the risk of sanctions against Ankara because of the S-400 is increasing. 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that Ankara is not going to give up the complexes.
