Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the film will now not appear in cinemas in several countries, but instead in the program of the streaming provider Disney +.

This does not come from the Disney group, but is a Chinese production by the director Jingle Ma.

"Mulan" release postponed again and again

The film was shot from August to November 2018 in China and New Zealand.

The official film start was originally planned for November 2, 2018 - but the date was postponed to March 2020. Then, however, the coronavirus intervened - and so the film start was repeatedly postponed until the decision was made to open it in some countries (including USA, Canada and Germany) to be shown on Disney +.
