Dortmund (dpa / lnw) - During the nationwide tests of noise barriers after the fatal accident on the A3 near Cologne, damage was found in a Dortmund road tunnel.
The Wambel tunnel of the B236 is affected, said Straßen.NRW on Thursday.
It was found that individual connections between the noise protection elements had come loose.
In order to exclude any risk to road users, the left lane was closed in both directions as a precaution.
Until Saturday (December 12th), only the right lane is available.
From Saturday, traffic will be directed via the right lane and the hard shoulder.
All lanes are expected to be free again from the beginning of January 2021 after the repair work in the tunnel has been completed.
