The coronavirus pandemic inspired a Rouen-based artist, who wrote a song about wearing a mask.

Entitled

Merde mon masque

, Fred 209's song humorously evokes an accessory that has become essential.

It all started with a discussion between friends during which the singer's companion suggested that he write a song on this theme.

Three weeks later, the performer and his two musician friends had composed and recorded the title, tells France 3 Normandie.

A clip made during confinement

For Fred 209, the main goal is to entertain people.

"I did not wish to launch a debate, it is not my goal," he explained.

“I am neither for nor against.

We made this song to play down the situation.

"

The song tells the story of a man who drank too much the day before and who goes to buy pastries to be forgiven by his wife.

Arriving in front of the bakery, he understands that he forgot his protective mask.

To accompany the song, Fred209 made a clip during the confinement.

“We couldn't go out.

So, we made a clip stamped 'confinement', he explains.

We still tried to bring out the wearing of the mask with this face and this black background.
