The lawyer for the former King of Spain said Wednesday, December 9 in a statement, that the former monarch had settled a debt of nearly 680,000 euros to the Spanish tax authorities in order to regularize his situation.
The former monarch, who abdicated in 2014, went into exile in the United Arab Emirates in early August and is the target of several investigations in Spain.
