The North Korean authorities have sent officials to foreign missions and international organization offices in North Korea stating measures to strengthen the COVID-19 quarantine.

The Russian embassy in North Korea said through an official Facebook account that "a letter from the North Korean Foreign Ministry's protocol was received on the 7th," and that the letter contained the details of'super-high-level quarantine measures'.

According to the Gonghan, the North Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs has notified the re-establishment of temperature measurement clinics at the entrances to the diplomatic complex in Munsu-dong and Munheung-dong in Pyongyang and in front of the Chinese and Russian embassy.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said that representatives of North Korean agencies are mainly communicated by phone, and that if an interview is inevitable, the distance should be kept at least 2 meters.

In addition, he said that no more than 15 people should attend church and temple worship services, and that there should not be more than 10 people attending a friendly meal in a general public restaurant.

It is known that Ryongaksan Park is closed again, the Pyongyang public restaurant is open only until 9 pm, and that North Korean employees of foreign missions cannot work after 6 pm.

Since early February, North Korea has taken strong quarantine restrictions, such as halting air and rail traffic with China and Russia, and blocking foreigners from entering and leaving North Korea.

Since then, some stores in Pyongyang, which were closed from March to May, have been reopened and easing measures have been taken in stages, such as allowing foreigners to visit stores, restaurants, and department stores.

Then, on the 2nd, it was announced earlier that the level of COVID-19 quarantine will be upgraded to the highest level of ``super premium''.

North Korea categorizes the quarantine class into three levels according to the speed and risk of infectious disease transmission.
