In front of this New York elementary school this Monday morning, the parents are back with their children.
Daniela Vlacich is waiting in line with her 5 year old daughter.
“
He missed it!
She was very happy this morning.

We can't do anything else.
I'm just happy that they're reopening,
”explains this mother.
On November 19,
the mayor ordered the closure of all
New York
schools
because of the rise in Covid-19 contaminations in the city.

School is the best option for us,
”explains a father.
“
We don't know what to expect.
I would just like them to make a final decision
, ”adds another.
The situation is all the more uncertain as the colleges and high schools remain closed for the moment and no date has been announced for a possible recovery.
