Grossenhain (dpa / sn) - A man from Grossenhain (Meißen district) posed with a gun on social networks at the weekend and thus triggered a police operation with special forces.
In the picture, the 40-year-old had a revolver in his hand and indicated that he wanted to harm himself, the police reported on Monday.
In the man's apartment, the emergency services found a revolver and two pistols, which were obviously alarm and compressed air weapons.
According to the information, he told the police that he had not meant the statement seriously.
The police are now checking whether the man is being sent an invoice for the operation.
