Radio waves made American diplomats sick

It claims the department The National Academics of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine in a report, commissioned by the US government, reports TT.

The staff and their families suffered from ear pain, headaches and dizziness, and some other problems.

For many, the problems have become permanent.

According to the report, these are most likely "targeted, pulsating radio frequency energies", although the Committee cannot rule out other causes.

Pulsating radio waves can be used, among other things, to treat pressure ulcers.

Called home diplomats

At least 24 diplomats were killed at the US embassy in Cuba's capital, Havana, leading to diplomatic controversy.

The United States considered closing the embassy for a while, but contented itself with recalling half the diplomatic staff and expelling Cuban diplomats.

14 Canadian diplomats at the country's embassy in Havana also fell ill.
