The vote took place peacefully.

In the polling station where RFI was located, the counting is finished.

And unsurprisingly, it was the ruling party, the RDPC, which won all the votes, except two which went to the FCP, the opposition party which had run in the Center region.

FCP President Denis Atangana denounced the methods of the ruling party which had voters transported by bus to go to vote: "

An unacceptable practice in a ballot supposed to be free and democratic

 ".

At the security level for the moment, in the English-speaking regions, a municipal councilor was shot dead after going to vote, according to the coordinator of the NGO Cereda, which has deployed observers throughout the country.

No official has been identified for the moment but the separatists had threatened with reprisals those who would get involved in the poll.

Elsewhere, in these two regions in crisis, the vote seems to have taken place without incident with a strong presence of the security forces, according to the first feedbacks.
