Four cities (autonomous prefectures) and 16 counties (cities, districts) including Siping and Changchun in Jilin suffered low-temperature freezing disasters.

In mid-to-late November, there was a large-scale heavy rain and snow in the central and eastern part.

  According to the China Meteorological Administration’s forecast on the 4th, there were mainly 5 cold air processes affecting China in December. The temperature was relatively low in most of the central and western regions, including western Inner Mongolia, southwest Shanxi, parts of western Henan, central and northern Shaanxi, Ningxia, In the central and northeastern part of Gansu and northeastern part of Qinghai, the temperature was 1~2℃ lower than normal; in other areas, the temperature was higher than normal.
