04 December 2020 Positive closures for all European stock exchanges: caution has given way to optimism.

Milan earns 0.78%, London 0.92%, Paris 0.62% and Frankfurt 0.35%.

Overall, however, it was a week in decline for Piazza Affari which lost 0.78% over five days.

In Milan, stocks linked to the oil sector in particular rose sharply after the agreement reached by the OPEC countries to increase the production of "black gold" starting from January.

Oil prices rise and this pushes Eni (+ 3.45%);

Tenaris (+ 4.09%) and Saipem (+ 3.14%).

In the US, the agreement between Democrats and Republicans for a maxi package of aid to companies and families affected by Covid seems closer.

Wall Street appreciates: after the close of European markets, Dow Jones and Nasdaq up by more than half a point.

The euro remains above the 1.21 threshold against the dollar, even if it is cooling its run.
