Emmendingen (dpa / lsw) - After his escape from a psychiatric hospital in Emmendingen, the police are still looking for a 63-year-old.
The search has so far been unsuccessful, as the police and prosecutor announced on Friday.
Now they are looking for the man with a photo.
The fugitive did not return to the facility on Wednesday evening after shopping.
He therefore lives in an open residential group of the psychiatry.
The 63-year-old was sentenced to several years in prison by the Stuttgart Regional Court in 1999.
In addition, the court had ordered preventive detention.
The man would have had to answer to the regional court of Freiburg on Thursday on charges of rape.
If he is on the run for longer, the process must be postponed, according to the regional court.
