Kiel (dpa / lno) - According to the state government, 318 new corona cases were reported within one day in Schleswig-Holstein.
This is the highest number of new infections in the country to date.
The previous high was reached on October 30th - with 313 reported cases within one day.
The number of people who died in connection with a corona infection rose by one - to now 264. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 15,383 infections have been detected, as the state government announced.
According to the information, 114 Covid 19 patients were treated in the hospitals in Schleswig-Holstein.
24 of them are in intensive therapy, 12 currently need ventilation.
The number of people recovered is estimated at 12,100.
