“On the whole, the general situation is controlled and does not dictate the immediate introduction of a lockdown in December,” 112 Ukraine TV channel quoted him as saying.

As Zelensky noted, the authorities give businesses the opportunity to work and "not to lose December - one of the most profitable months of the year." 

He stressed that it will be possible to survive this month without severe restrictions only if citizens comply with all sanitary requirements. 

There is a likelihood of a lockdown in January, but the details are still unknown, Zelensky added. 

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian Ministry of Health will propose to the government to introduce a lockdown from the beginning of January for three weeks.
