The plea agreement, agreed with the prosecutors still in the investigation phase, was filed by the defender of Sostegni, Giuseppe Alessandro Pennisi, and provides for the payment, by way of compensation, of about 20 thousand euros.

The 62-year-old, who collaborated in the investigation, could become key witnesses in the trial. 



Luca Sostegni, the alleged figurehead of the accountant Michele Scillieri, is under house arrest as part of the investigation by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office on the sale of a shed in Cormano, in the province of Milan, by the Lombardia Film Commission and on the alleged funds to the Lega .



The intention of the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office was to ask for immediate judgment for all the defendants in the investigation, but it would be aimed at giving a positive opinion to the plea agreement.

Sostegni, 62, was arrested on 15 July for the danger of fleeing, as he lived between Italy and Brazil.
