The International City for Humanitarian Services flew several planes, during the last months of September and October, that carried aid provided by the humanitarian community from the warehouses of the International Humanitarian City in Dubai, to support and relief those affected by the devastating floods in Sudan.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Supervising the International Humanitarian City, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, said: “The directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to open a humanitarian air bridge to help in the escalating humanitarian situation of refugees and displaced people fleeing From Ethiopia to Sudan, it reflects His Highness' continuous efforts to support and serve communities and individuals in need globally, and to promote international humanitarian work. ”
