China Overseas Chinese Network, December 3, title: Solemn reminder: Nucleic acid test before boarding must be done seriously!

In order to prevent and control the new crown pneumonia epidemic, many countries require passengers on international flights to undergo nucleic acid tests in accordance with regulations before boarding and provide a negative certificate.

Most people can fulfill the epidemic prevention requirements seriously.

However, there are very few people who fail to comply with the requirements, and even cases of deliberate fraud have occurred.

Take warning from these cases!

Recently, many embassies and consulates abroad have notified some cases of violation of nucleic acid testing regulations. The practices in the cases not only bring potential risks to the health and safety of passengers and crew members on the same flight, but also bring legal risks to themselves.

Xiao Qiao sorted out a few typical cases, and hoped that everyone would take it as a warning and refrain from doing things that are harmful to others.

1. Tamper report

The Embassy in Spain issued a notice on its website on November 3, 2020, stating that Zhang was infected with new coronary pneumonia in Spain and tested positive for nucleic acid. Before taking the flight to China, he altered the report to be negative and defrauded the health code.

The embassy in Spain found that Zhang was suspected of fraud when checking with the testing agency. After checking with him, Zhang confessed.

The embassy immediately revoked his health code, and he was not allowed to board the flight when sick.

2. Modify the detection time

The Consulate General in Dubai issued a document on November 17 to report a case of tampering with the time of a test report.

When reviewing the inspection report, the Consulate General in Dubai found that Mao had tampered with the inspection time because the time limit of the inspection report exceeded 48 hours in an attempt to pass the customs.

The Consulate General in Dubai stated that this action was a flagrant violation of China's national defense epidemic regulations and relevant UAE laws.

At present, the Consulate General in Dubai has notified relevant domestic authorities of this situation and will seriously pursue Mao's legal responsibility.

3. Not staying at home after testing

A number of embassies and consulates abroad also notified related cases of not staying at home after testing.

The website of the Chinese Embassy in Panama announced on November 19 that after a Chinese citizen had undergone a nucleic acid test in Panama, he applied for a health code with a negative report and took the opportunity to go to China.

After completing the test, he ignored the requirements of home isolation, went out many times, and was transferred to a third country when he went to China. After returning to the country, he was diagnosed with infection and is now receiving isolation treatment.

On November 3, the embassy in Spain also mentioned a similar case. After receiving a negative report from the pre-departure nucleic acid test, Liu from Spain applied for a health code to board the plane to China.

But before going to China, Liu continued to run his own bar and contacted more customers. After returning home, he became ill and was diagnosed with infection. Now he is receiving isolation treatment.

On November 7, local time, passengers preparing to fly directly to Shanghai lined up for check-in procedures at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Pre-departure nucleic acid testing, please accept these suggestions!

In order to facilitate overseas passengers going to China, Xiaoqiao has compiled some suggestions for nucleic acid testing, and hopes to help everyone!

1. Take the test results scientifically and seriously

If the test is positive, they should be isolated and treated locally.

Chinese citizens can report to the local embassies and consulates in time, and the embassies and consulates will provide assistance in telemedicine consultations and epidemic prevention materials.

2. Declare personal information truthfully

Passengers should fill in personal information according to the actual situation when filling in information.

Deliberately concealing the condition, altering and falsifying nucleic acid test reports and serum IgM antibody test reports are all illegal acts, and they will be held accountable regardless of the country in which they are located.

3. Recognize the qualifications of the testing organization and choose a formal organization

Related testing should be done at the testing agency designated by the Chinese embassy or consulate.

The embassy and consulate will promptly issue a notice on the adjustment of the designated testing organization, and those who go to China should refer to the selection of testing locations.

Some Chinese embassies and consulates abroad do not designate testing agencies, and those who go to China need to choose medical or specialized testing agencies that are officially recognized and qualified by the local government.

4. Don't believe in rumors

Some intermediary agencies publish advertisements through WeChat groups, Weibo and other social media, claiming to be "convenient, money-saving, and time-saving", or even "to meet the standards, and to pass through".

A number of embassies and consulates abroad have already issued information stating that they should not listen to illegal intermediary advertisements, choose testing agencies carefully, and conduct standardized testing according to the truth.

So as not to delay the trip!

Xiao Qiao also reminds everyone again to strictly abide by the laws and regulations on epidemic prevention in China and the country where they live, and do not take a chance and deliberately conceal the condition!

Don't alter the forged nucleic acid test report!
