Chinanews, Paris, December 3 (Reporter Li Yang) The international aid Lebanon video conference organized by France and the United Nations was held again on the 2nd local time.

French President Macron said during the meeting that he will revisit Lebanon this month.

Macron said that a fund coordinated by the United Nations, the World Bank and the European Union will be established to ensure that the relevant aid funds provide assistance to the Lebanese people.

He believes that Lebanon's humanitarian needs are still unmet and the country is in crisis.

Macron pointed out that the support of the international community cannot replace Lebanon's commitment to form a new government and implement the reform road map into action.

He said that without a reliable new government, international economic assistance will not be realized.

Macron also stated that he will not abandon the relevant commitments made to Lebanon, nor will he abandon the requirements for reform or investigation of the cause of the explosion.

He will revisit Lebanon this month to promote the relevant agenda.

The first international aid to Lebanon video conference was held on August 9th and raised about 250 million euros in pledges.

The video conference on international assistance to Lebanon was originally scheduled to be held in October, but because the Lebanese parties failed to reach a consensus on the formation of a new government at that time, the conference was postponed until now.

A violent explosion occurred in the Beirut port area of Lebanon on August 4, killing at least 190 people and injuring thousands.

The then Prime Minister Diab announced the collective resignation of the government on August 10.

The international community has launched operations to assist Lebanon, but the economic and social crisis facing Lebanon is still severe.

Earlier this month, the World Bank urged Lebanon to implement reforms to escape the economic depression.
