Hu Chunhua said that since the beginning of this year, President Xi Jinping has had two video meetings with EU leaders, and exchanged letters, telegrams or video meetings with leaders of many EU member states, planning the way forward and identifying key areas for the next stage of China-EU relations.
China is willing to work with the European side to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both sides, actively promote the negotiation of the China-EU investment agreement, and continuously expand the breadth and depth of cooperation, so as to inject new impetus into the development of the China-EU comprehensive strategic partnership.
It is hoped that the enterprises of both sides will give full play to their complementary advantages and vigorously promote cooperation in the fields of green industry, digital economy, agriculture, and small and medium-sized enterprises to achieve greater mutual benefit and win-win results.
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is an important participant and promoter of China-EU cooperation, and hopes to continue to play its role as a bridge and bond, and make greater contributions to strengthening exchanges and communication and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between Chinese and European companies.
About 200 Chinese and foreign guests including Yu Bai, head of the EU delegation to China, attended the dinner.
