Berlin (dpa) - Cashew butter from the Bioladen * brand has been recalled from the trade because it may contain pieces of glass.
The 250-gram jars are affected, as stated on the website Lebensmittelwarnung.de.
Thursday's warning applies to the states of Hesse, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate.
The manufacturer of the cashew butter sold in organic retail is Weiling GmbH from Coesfeld (North Rhine-Westphalia).
A piece of glass was found in a glass of the product - and it cannot be ruled out that other glasses are affected, it said.
