Bremen (dpa / lni) - Werder Bremen's vice-captain Theodor Gebre Selassie is not afraid of another crash in the Bundesliga despite a series of six games without a win.

“No, I'm not worried that we won't get the curve,” said the 33-year-old Czech on Thursday.

«We learned a lot from last season.

We're more stable than a year ago, ”said Gebre Selassie.

In the past season, the North Germans crashed in the table due to a negative series before Christmas and could only save themselves from relegation to the second division third 1. FC Heidenheim from relegation to the 2. Bundesliga.

This season Werder are currently in eleventh place, but recently suffered a clear 3: 5 defeat in Wolfsburg.

"It was clear to see that it will be difficult if we don't all defend the way we have to," said the right-back.

Against VfB Stuttgart, the whole team will have to defend more concentrated on Sunday (3:30 p.m. / Sky).
