Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The Association of Business Associations Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania gets a new leadership.

The umbrella organization of employers and business associations in the country wants to re-elect its presidium today (1 p.m.).

The current vice-president, Lars Schwarz, is running for the office of employer president.

He wants to succeed Thomas Lambusch.

The 67-year-old recently retired from the head of the Rostock electrical engineering company SEAR and is now vacating the management position in the employers' association before the end of the four-year electoral term.

Lambusch had led the association of business associations, which according to its own information represents 50 employers, business, professional and regional associations in the state, for a total of six years.

Lars Schwarz is President of the Hotel and Restaurant Association (Dehoga) in the country. In the negotiations with the state government to relax the corona restrictions, the 43-year-old hotelier presented himself as a stubborn and solution-oriented negotiator.
