Leipzig (dpa / sn) - After a female corpse was found in an apartment in Leipzig, a 30-year-old man is now in custody.
Due to the investigation, he is under the urgent suspicion of manslaughter, as the Leipzig Police Department announced on Thursday.
The man was arrested on Thursday and taken to prison.
The body of the 61-year-old woman was discovered on October 1.
Even then, the investigators had not ruled out a violent crime.
The police did not want to provide any further information about the course of events and the man's motive, referring to the ongoing investigation.
