The plans are ongoing from Region Blekinge's side for the upcoming vaccination against covid-19.
According to the regional board chairman Lennarth Förberg (M), it is important that the decision on the cost is made quickly.
- The government has had views that the regions worked slowly during the pandemic.
Since the decision on the vaccination cost must be made to the council, we therefore wanted to prepare the issue in the board already today, so that we do not fall behind, he says.
Political support across bloc borders
And all indications are that a political majority is in favor of free vaccination.
Opposition councilor Christina Mattisson (S) confirms that the Social Democrats will support the alliance's proposal during Wednesday's meeting of the regional board.
The decision will be made final when the regional council meets on 16 December.
