Lauenburg (dpa / lno) - In the Askanierhaus nursing home in Lauenburg, ten residents and five nurses have tested positive for the corona virus.
The other 80 residents of the facility are now to be tested at short notice.
The residents of the home who tested positive would be isolated in their rooms by order of the district health office, the Duchy of Lauenburg announced on Wednesday.
According to the spokesman, a total of 36 new infections were registered in the district on Wednesday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 1102 corona infections.
294 patients are currently actively ill, 784 are considered to have recovered.
24 people died due to corona infection.
According to the Robert Koch Institute, the incidence value is 57.1 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days.
