A report of assault at Teleborgshallen in connection with the school was made by the police on Monday.
This is about a person who is part of the school's staff, according to information from Växjö municipality's education administration.
- This person was allowed to receive blows, and had objects thrown at him, but did not hit, says Robert Loeffel, the police's press spokesperson in Växjö.
The suspected perpetrator is a person in his 15s who the police have so far not been able to find.
The criminal classification is assault and attempted aggravated assault.
- We need to talk to the plaintiff and we could not do that on Monday due to his medical condition, says Robert Loeffel.
The person who is employed at the school was taken to hospital, was slightly injured but was able to go home after an examination.
Student abused
On Tuesday morning, another assault took place at the school.
One student was beaten and taken by ambulance to hospital.
He was slightly injured, according to the Central Hospital in Växjö.
According to the municipality, there is no connection between these events.
- Today's assault is a completely isolated incident, says Henrick Caesar, area manager for the southern area of Växjö municipality.
