Stuttgart (dpa) - The state government is fighting with stricter contact restrictions against the rampant corona pandemic.
The new Corona regulation for the country comes into force today.
In December, instead of the previous ten, only up to five people from no more than two households can meet.
At Christmas, however, these rules should be relaxed again.

Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann will answer journalists' questions together with Health Minister Manne Lucha (both Greens).
Environment Minister Franz Untersteller (Greens) is also there - he wants to provide information about the so-called Integrated Rhine Program, which deals with flood protection on the Rhine.
