The minister noted that such attention is paid primarily because this system, created by the United States and its allies, "serves financial flows to ensure normal trade, trade in services, investments and practically all other aspects of economic life."

“The conclusion is very simple: to develop our own mechanisms that will not keep our countries dependent on the West,” Lavrov added.
