“On December 1, 2020, Roszdravnadzor, chaired by the head of the Service, Alla Samoilova, held an opening meeting with the Hungarian delegation on further cooperation in the production and control of the Sputnik V vaccine,” the statement said.

Earlier, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto said that the country expects to localize part of the production of the Russian vaccine against COVID-19 on its territory.

As Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban noted, the issue of buying a Russian vaccine belongs to the health sector, not politics.
