01 December 2020 Positive closings for European stock exchanges, which - after a very good November - also start well in December.

Milan is the weakest and ends at + 0.18%.

London shines instead at + 1.89%, followed by Paris at + 1.14% and Frankfurt at + 0.69%.



In Piazza Affari, black session for Unicredit (-8%) after the announcement of the departure of the CEO Mustier next April: the uncertainty about the future leaders penalizes the stock.

On the contrary, Mps (+ 3.70%) runs on rumors of a possible merger with Unicredit.


In general, the sector is positive and benefits from the new assumptions linked to banking risk: Intesa Sanpaolo gains 2.68%, Bper + 1.43% and Banco Bpm + 1.38%.



Wall Street does not stop and still grinds records.

Shortly after the European market closes, both the Dow Jones and the Nasdaq were up by more than a point.

The technological and energetic sectors did well above all, driven by the vaccine race and the good data on American manufacturing.
