The Algerian presidency said that the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, reassures the Algerian people that he is recovering, and that he will return to the homeland in the coming days, after a month has passed since he left the country for treatment.

The Algerian presidency added - in a statement - that Tebboune (75 years old) continues the remainder of the recovery period after leaving the specialized hospital in Germany, in compliance with the recommendations of the medical team.

The presidency did not provide more details about the whereabouts of Tebboune to spend his recovery period.

Tebboune was transferred to Germany for treatment on October 28, after he was infected with the Coronavirus.
