“For many years, there has been a practice that provides for early payment of January pensions to some pensioners,” the senator said in an interview with Parlamentskaya Gazeta.
As noted, in 2020 ahead of schedule - at the end of December - the pension for January will be received by people to whom payments are delivered through post offices in the period from the 1st to the 3rd inclusive.
“These people will receive pensions at the end of December.
The amount will come in full - for the whole January, ”the senator explained.
It is planned that from January 4, the Russian Post will operate as usual.
Earlier, Senator Bibikova said that insurance pensions for non-working pensioners in 2021 will be indexed by 6.3%.
In early October, Russian leader Vladimir Putin spoke about the instruction to the government to work out the issue of fair indexation of pensions.
