  • The alleged facts, extremely serious if they are proven, were denounced by the children.

  • The four adults prosecuted contest “any act of a sexual nature”.

The facts, if they are true, are extremely serious.

Three children from the same siblings, then aged 6 to 9, could have been victims of incestuous rapes committed by their father, their paternal grandfather and grandmother, and an uncle, reports Nice-Matin.

The four adults were indicted in particular for "incestuous rape of a minor under 15 years" confirms

The case began a year ago with the indictment and the placement in detention in Grasse prison of the father of the family, a 44-year-old Cannes resident in early December 2019. Then that of the grandfather, the following month.

In October 2020, the investigation led to two new indictments: the grandmother and an uncle.

These are the children who would have told an educator the pedophile acts of which they would have been victims a year earlier, specifies

Rape and abuse that allegedly took place in the family villa of Carqueiranne (Var) and in Dronero, a village in Piedmont (Italy).

In this sensitive case, the four respondents deny "any act of a sexual nature", indicates Fabienne Atzori, the prosecutor of Grasse.

The father released on probation

In August, the public prosecutor's office did not oppose the request for the release of the father, who was placed under judicial supervision.

An act which does not prejudge in any way the continuation of the file insists the magistrate.

“It appeared to us, confides the prosecutor of Grasse, that after eight months of pre-trial detention, the detention had lasted long enough and that the guarantees of representation of this person were sufficient”.

"We are in the presence of declarations of children who require the investigation to continue" indicates with caution the head of the prosecution.

Fifteen years after the Outreau case, or in the Alpes-Maritimes the Iacono case at the end of which the accused acquitted in 2015 after the retractions of his grandson, the magistrates of Grasse do not want to take a judicial fiasco.
