 His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, affirmed that the nation’s martyrs will remain at the forefront of the pages of national history and in our hearts we draw from them examples of courage to elevate the dear homeland and make sacrifices.

His Highness said - in a speech he addressed through the magazine "Dir 'al-Watan" on the occasion of the Day of the Martyrs - on one of the days of the eternal nation, we all remember the leadership and people of the nation's brave martyrs who shed their pure blood the nation's wealth since November 30, 1971 in defense of its soil, security and stability, and our martyrs remain At the forefront of the pages of national history, and in our hearts we all draw from them examples of courage to elevate the dear country and make sacrifices.

His Highness added: Our remembrance of the Martyr's Day is an affirmation of the sincerity of belonging and the spirit of sacrifices that characterize the people of the Emirates and the children of the armed forces, in order to achieve and fulfill the right.

His Highness affirmed that our national leadership, since the establishment of the Union, has embodied national solidarity to protect gains in accordance with national education, which today has become one of the features that characterize the sons of the armed forces and emphasized on the principles of loyalty, pride and dignity, inspired by them the lessons of determination and defending the nation in times of crisis and active participation in Building the state in peacetime within the framework of their obligations and duties towards their homeland.
