Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah: Martyrs' Day is an anniversary in which we celebrate the highest meanings of sacrifice and redemption

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, said that the Day of the Martyr is an anniversary in which we commemorate the highest meanings of sacrifice and redemption, and through which we recall the sacrifices of the nation's people in various fields, so that the UAE remains the homeland of security, safety, love and peace.

His Highness paid tribute to the families of the nation's righteous martyrs, who believed what they had pledged to God and devoted their lives to for the sake of truth and the homeland, and to make the UAE more resilient and stronger in the presence of its children who continue the process of building, achievement and excellence.

His Highness affirmed, in a speech delivered through "Dera Al Watan Magazine" on the occasion of Commemoration Day, that the UAE in its march represented a model for progress and prosperity for its people and for everyone who resides on its land.

He added: “Today we stand in front of an example of the people of the Emirates who, with their pure blood, have written the most wonderful examples of sacrifice for the sake of God and in defense of the homeland and its dignity, so that our flag remains thwarting in the sky of pride, and they have inspired us to continue the march of construction and renaissance, with the great responsibilities they left for us, through which we will be more Union and more strength, so that the name of the Emirates remains high at all times.

His Highness said: “We affirm the commitment of the leadership of the UAE and its people to the families of the martyrs, their families and their children, in appreciation of their sacrifices, which will remain a light page and an example to be emulated in the history of the Emirates, and in gratitude for the principles and morals of our martyrs that they represent.”

His Highness added: “I especially mention the mother of the martyr who sacrificed the joy of her liver in order to consider it with God in the gardens of bliss, with the sacrifice he made for the sake of God and the homeland, and today we count her, God willing, from the patient, for she is the mother of everyone, and everyone on this earth carries in his heart. All love and appreciation for her and her sacrifices ».
