Hechingen (dpa / lsw) - Because of an attack on an employee of the immigration office of the Sigmaringer district office, a 28-year-old man has to answer before the district court of Hechingen from Monday (9:00 a.m.).

The public prosecutor's office accuses him of hostage-taking, dangerous bodily harm and an attack on law enforcement officers.

The asylum seeker from Nigeria is said to have taken the woman into a headlock at the beginning of June and held a kitchen knife to her neck.

The police used pepper spray and overpowered the man.

During the arrest, he is said to have trampled two police officers.

According to the investigations, the 28-year-old had rioted in the immigration office because of a rejected work permit.

A total of four days of negotiations are scheduled.
