Duisburg (dpa / sn) - Dynamo Dresden is in the top group of the 3rd soccer league.

Markus Kauczinski's team celebrated its eighth win of the season on Sunday and defeated MSV Duisburg 3-0 (1-0).

Philipp Hosiner (25th), Patrick Weihrauch (53rd) and Christoph Daferner (55th) scored the goals in the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena for the relegated second division, who now has 25 points on the account.

Kauczinski relied on the same eleven men who had won a safe home win against SpVgg Unterhaching four days earlier.

In the third last Duisburg, however, the Saxons needed a while to create a goal threat for the first time.

The opening goal by Hosiner was only the second shot on goal after Ransford Königsdörffer (14th) sniffed Duisburg goalkeeper Leo Weinkauf by chance.

With a double strike in the second round, however, Dresden left no doubts about their fourth win in a row.

First Daferner hung up on Weihrauch in the 53rd minute, who scored his first goal of the season.

Just two minutes later, the goalscorer gave Daferner a corner kick.
