A week after the incident, the four police officers involved in the assault on producer Michel Zecler, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, spent the night in police custody where they were heard by the IGPN.

They should be questioned again on Saturday for violence in meetings, with weapons and of a racist nature.

Four police officers spent the night from Friday to Saturday in police custody, in the case of the producer beaten.

These have been heard by IGPN investigators and will be heard again during the day.

Involved in the assault of Michel Zecler, this music producer beaten up last weekend in his studio in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, the police are prosecuted for violence, for forgery in writing, and are also suspected of racism.

Accusations that grow heavier

The charges are growing every day.

These police officers were originally suspected of "aggravated violence", because they are police officers, and of "forgery in public writing" because of their intervention report, at least truncated compared to what the video shows.

But in custody, three of them must also explain the version advanced by the victim.

In fact, the producer assures us that the police made racist remarks.

"Dirty nigger", they would have launched by hitting him.

On this point, no proof, because the CCTV camera records only the images, not the sound.

The advanced racist character

It is therefore for "voluntary violence in meetings, with weapons, and of a racist nature" that these officials are questioned.

Knowing that another video, filmed by a neighbor at his window, shows how the police finally took the victim out and continued to hit him on the sidewalk, for no apparent reason, in the passive presence of their colleagues.

As for the fourth official interviewed, he was part of the reinforcements last Saturday.

It was he who allegedly threw a tear gas canister inside the room.

A totally unjustified gesture that should lead to prosecution.
