It was on July 15 that 20-year-old Reza Hoseini in Kiruna was stabbed to death with over 90 stab wounds.

Three men, a father and his two teenage sons, were charged with murder and today the trial ended where the prosecutor, among other things, told what punishment she was demanding.

Want to see extra harsh penalties

Prosecutor Lindha Strömberg wants to see extra harsh punishment because, according to her, there is a clear motive of honor behind the suspected murder.

In the video above, you can hear what punishment she is demanding for her father, the 17-year-old and the 15-year-old.

Suspects claim self-defense

The three suspects have all denied murder through their lawyers. The 15-year-old admits that he has stabbed Reza but claims self-defense as he must have experienced the situation as threatening and felt compelled to make peace in connection with the incident. All three also deny the prosecutor's theory that there is a clear motive for honor behind it.
