Sinsheim (dpa / lsw) - In an accident in Sinsheim (Rhein-Neckar district), six people were injured, including two babies.

According to the police on Friday, one of the drivers involved ignored a red light at an intersection, which led to a collision.

The impact threw both cars against the guardrail.

The family of four from one vehicle and the two women from the second vehicle came to a hospital late Thursday evening for further examinations.

It is still unclear which of the two drivers drove off despite the red light; both stated that they drove when the light was green.

The police are looking for witnesses.
