Due to the Corona epidemic, Kapitelhusgården in Visby has lost 80 percent of its sales.
As a last resort to avoid bankruptcy, the public was asked for help.
The response was huge.
- We were completely shocked by this total tidal wave of help that came furiously, says restaurant manager Stella Carlson.
The donations gave an estimated SEK 300,000 that was needed.
- It clearly means that there is actually a Chapter for the spring, that we are still there and will be able to open until next season.
It is absolutely incredible, says Stella Carlson.
