It was a year ago that 20-year-old Emilia Lundberg disappeared and after eleven days was found dead in Vramsån in Tollarp.

Yesterday was the last regular day of the trial against a man in his 20s who was accused of having murdered Emilia.

And already today a message came from Kristianstad District Court.

"There is convincing evidence that the man has deprived the woman of her life," the district court writes.

Forensic psychiatric examination

The man is to undergo a forensic psychiatric examination and is in custody for the time being.

The forensic psychiatric examination will be completed in about a month and after that the main hearing will continue, Kristianstad District Court writes in the press release.

The suspect has always denied any wrongdoing.
